FOX SPORTS SOUTHWEST OFFERS LIVE COVERAGE

OF UIL FOOTBALL STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS

FOX Sports Southwest will provide live webcasts of the UIL Six-Man championship games on Dec. 14 and live television coverage of the 2016 UIL Texas High School football state championships from AT&T Stadium in Arlington Dec. 15-17.   

The wall-to-wall television coverage will feature live game telecasts plus shows between games and a wrap up highlight program after the final contest of the postseason.

Viewers can watch the live internet broadcasts on FoxSportsSouthwest.com by clicking on the

UIL championship banner located on the home page on Wednesday.  FOX Sports GO, the free app that provides live streaming video of FOX Sports content at home or on-the-go, also will live stream the games to customers of participating TV providers.

FOX Sports GO is currently available for iOS, Apple TV, Android, Android TV, Fire tablets and Fire phones, Roku players and Roku TV, select Windows devices, and online at FOXSportsGO.com.

Two Six-Man games are scheduled on Wednesday, Dec. 14, four games are scheduled on Thursday, Dec. 15 with tripleheaders set for Friday, Dec. 16 and Saturday, Dec. 17.

In some markets, the 5A Division II game on Friday, Dec. 18 at 8:00 p.m. will be carried on FOX Sports Southwest Plus due to overlap with the Dallas Mavericks-Utah Jazz NBA game on FOX Sports Southwest. FOX Sports Southwest Plus is used by FOX Sports Southwest to simultaneously show multiple events on two channels and is available to all video providers that carry FOX Sports Southwest. 

Craig Way, Ron Thulin, Dave Barnett and Granger Huntress will split play-by-play duties. They’ll be joined by former Port Arthur Jefferson High School and Texas A&M wide receiver Shea Walker, former Graham High School coach Brad McCoy and former Crowley High School and New York Giants linebacker Gary Reasons will rotate as analysts.  

Erin Hartigan, Randy Mcllvoy, Cassie McKinney and Desmond Purnell will serve as sideline reporters.

Ford Championship Live shows hosted by Ric Renner will be televised between games and will include analysis from Texas High School football coaching legend Ken Purcell, recruiting expert Randy Rodgers, and Texas Football Managing Editor Greg Tepper.

High School Scoreboard Live on Saturday, Dec. 17 at 11:00 p.m. CT wraps up FOX Sports Southwest’s extensive coverage with highlights and recaps from all championship games.
