FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

AUSTIN, TX — Bands from across the state will compete for top honors at the 2023 UIL State Marching Band Championships to be held October 30-November 1 for conferences 2A, 4A, and 6A, and November 6-8 for conferences 1A, 3A, and 5A at the Alamodome in San Antonio.

TICKETS
Tickets are $20 per person per session and $35 for double session tickets.

Spectators are encouraged to arrive early to avoid congestion at the doors. The Box Office will open 75 minutes prior to first performance of the day and doors will open 45 minutes prior to the first performance in each session. Tickets are also available in advance through. Access to a live video feed will be provided through NFHS Network.

Conference 2A participants include the following high schools: Anson, Bangs, Bogata Rivercrest, Charlotte, Clarksville, Ganado, Hale Center, Honey Grove, Lockney, Louise, Mason, Panhandle, Ralls, Rosebud-Lott, Santo, Shiner, Sundown, Tenaha, Valley Mills

Conference 4A participants include the following high schools: Alice, Alvarado, Anna, Bridge City, Burnet, Canton, Canyon, Canyon Randall, Canyon West Plains, Celina, China Spring, Comal Davenport, Corpus Christi Calallen, Floresville, Frisco Panther Creek, Gatesville, Lumberton, Paris, Paris North Lamar, Pecos, Raymondville, Rio Grande City Grulla, River Oaks Castleberry, Robinson, Robstown, Sulphur Springs

MEDIA CREDENTIALS
Media outlets planning to cover the UIL State Marching Band should submit an online media credential request starting Thursday, October 26 until 5 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 29 for conferences 2A, 4A, and 6A. Conferences 1A, 3A, and 5A media credentials can be applied for starting Thursday, Nov. 2, and will end at 5 p.m., November 5 .
