2012 UIL Academic State Meet
May 21-23, 2012
Austin, TX
The 2012 University Interscholastic League Academic State Meet will welcome more than 2,500 participants from across Texas to the University of Texas at Austin campus May 21-23. State Champions will be named in each conference 1A through 5A, in 22 academic contests as well as the One-Act Play.
Through participation at the UIL Academic State Meet, students qualify for the Texas Interscholastic League Foundation scholarships. Since its inception in 1954, the TILF has awarded more than $24 million to more than 16,000 Texas high school students.
Academic State Contests include one-act play, journalism, speech and debate, math and science, language arts, business education, computer science and social studies.
