State Tournament Practice Rounds

Individuals and/or teams qualifying for the state golf tournament are permitted one practice round of 18 holes at the site of the state golf tournament. There shall be no more than a one day loss of school time involved in practice or travel in relation to practice preceding the tournament.  Please contact each individual course to arrange practice times (see below).

Substitutions/Misspellings

Please contact the UIL for all substitutions/misspellings IMMEDIATELY after qualifying for the state tournament.  All spelling changes are due to the UIL office no later than Friday, April 23rd at noon. Any reordering of teams should be done at the coaches' meeting Sunday prior to the tournament.

State Green Fees

Listed below are the charges for the 2027 Golf State Championships. Prices include all green fees for practice and tournament rounds, practice balls and coaches' golf carts during tournament rounds.

  • 1A/2A/3A/4A
    • Team Total: $875
    • Medalist Total: $175
