AUSTIN, TX — The State Executive Committee of the University Interscholastic League met Monday, November 2, to hand down decisions on eligibility of student-athletes and issue penalties for potential rule violations.

Student-athletes from Brock High School and Eustace High School were denied an appeal for varsity eligibility, upholding the previous ruling of the district executive committee.

Bartlett High School head football coach Judd Thrash was issued one-year probation, a public reprimand and additional training for an ejection.

No action was taken against Slaton High School cross country coach Landon Sims.

Slaton High School athletic director Clint Conkin was issued two years probation and a public reprimand.

Slaton High School was issued two years probation and required to submit modified procedures for eligibility for all sports at Slaton High School.
