AUSTIN, TX — The State Executive Committee of the University Interscholastic League met Thursday, September 22, to hand down decisions on eligibility of student-athletes.

A student-athlete from Lewisville High School was granted an appeal for varsity eligibility. After hearing testimony from all parties, it was determined that this student did establish residence in the attendance zone.

Student-athletes from San Antonio Alamo Heights High School and Southlake Carroll High School were denied an appeal for varsity eligibility, upholding the previous ruling of the district executive committee.

A student-athlete from Hooks High School was ruled ineligible for varsity eligibility. It was determined that this student changed schools for athletic purposes.
