AUSTIN, TX — The State Executive Committee of the University Interscholastic League met Wednesday to issue penalties for possible UIL rules violations.
George West High School was denied an appeal upholding the public reprimand issued by the District Executive Committee regarding Responsibilities of the Superintendent or Chief Administrator.
Falls City High School Softball Coach Will Gates was denied an appeal of an ejection and was issued a one-year probation, a public reprimand, and additional training.
Hardin-Jefferson High School Girls Soccer Coach Cara Robinson was denied an appeal of an ejection and was issued a one-year probation, a public reprimand, and additional training.
The Committee heard an appeal by an individual of Dallas Highland Park High School’s forfeiture of five boys soccer contests. A decision on that matter will be issued later.
