AUSTIN, Texas — The State Executive Committee of the University Interscholastic League met Wednesday to hand down decisions on eligibility of student-athletes.
A student-athlete from Spring Westfield High School was granted an appeal for varsity eligibility. After hearing testimony from all parties, it was determined that this student did not change schools for athletic purposes.
Student-athletes from Hallsville High School, Friendswood Clear Brook High School and Plano West High School were denied an appeal for varsity eligibility, upholding the previous ruling of the district executive committee.
