UIL Lone Star Cup Trophy Presentations Scheduled

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

AUSTIN, Texas — The University Interscholastic League announced trophy presentation dates for the 2026 UIL Lone Star Cup winners, presented by Texas Farm Bureau Insurance. Representatives from the UIL and Texas Farm Bureau Insurance will be on-site to present each winning school with the UIL Lone Star Cup trophy.

2026 UIL Lone Star Cup presentation dates:
Friday, August 28: Presentation for Comal Davenport High School (4A) pregame before home football game vs. New Braunfels Long Creek.
Friday, August 28: Presentation for Shiner High School (2A) halftime of home football game vs. Vanderbilt Industrial.

Wednesday, September 16: Presentation for Prosper Walnut Grove High School (5A). Homecoming Parade and Pep Rally.

Friday, September 18: Presentation for Wall High School (3A) halftime of home football game vs. Ozona.
Friday, September 18: Presentation for Gordon High School (1A) pregame before home football game vs. Bluff Dale.

Friday, September 25: Presentation for Southlake Carroll High School (6A) halftime of home football game vs. Northwest Eaton.

The UIL Lone Star Cup program began during the 1997-98 school year and recognizes six high schools (one in each of the six UIL conferences), based on their overall team achievement in a variety of sanctioned academic, athletic and music championships. The winning schools in each conference receive the UIL Lone Star Cup trophy presented by Texas Farm Bureau Insurance and a $1,000 award.
