The Texas State Solo and Ensemble Contest took place over Memorial Day weekend. TSSEC is the UIL event that has the most opportunities for students to compete, and is unique in that participants can compete vocally or with instruments. There were about 13,000 performances that took place over the three-day event.
Contest results were made available on site at the conclusion of the competition each day and will be posted on the UIL website by June 10. Those named outstanding performers will be notified within the next two weeks via mail. Additionally, the Theory Test will be graded, and results will be mailed out within the next two to three weeks.
Congratulations to all our participants!
