ONE-ACT PLAY
Tickets for State OAP are available to purchase in advance OR day of contest (as available). Tickets will be through online ticketing ONLY, you will not be able to make cash or check ticket purchases.

Award ceremonies are open to the public and free to attend on a space available basis. For One-Act Play, awards ceremonies can begin as early as 10 PM, though they usually start later.

SESSION INFORMATION - How ticketing works

NOTE: Historically, tickets have not sold out for performances. Chances are good, but not guaranteed, that you will be able to purchase tickets for the session(s) you would like to see.

The performance schedule is divided into two sessions per day, with four plays performed in each session. A separate ticket is required for each session. If you want to see all of the 1A performances, for example, you need to purchase a ticket for Session 1 and another ticket for Session 2.

A ticket is required for everyone 3 years of age and older. The auditorium is cleared between Session 1 and Session 2. All spectators, including all pass holders and ticket holders, must exit.

TICKET OPTIONS

1. GENERAL ADMISSION ($18 plus fees)
Each ticket is valid for one (1) session only. A separate ticket is required for each session.

2. DIRECTOR'S PASS: ($25 plus fees for 1 pass)
This pass is available to UIL One-Act Play Directors and their students ONLY. The pass is valid for all sessions and all conferences for the 2026 State One-Act Play Contest.

3. State qualifying One-Act Play companies and state qualifying Theatrical Design participants receive complimentary passes good for all sessions, all days, and all conferences.

4. GROUPS? Directors bringing school groups of 10 or more, please submit the STATE OAP Group Ticket INTEREST FORM or contact the UIL state office at 512-471-4517 if you have questons.
