I competed in each of the events for 4 years, and have also practiced for 3 years judging my peers in these events. I have a deep understanding of the criteria for deciding ranks and victors, and I've also received all judge accreditations through NSDA as well.

Approach: Resolution of substantive issues is more important than communication skills
Philosophy:
LD is at its core an ethics debate, so the value-criterion debate is of upmost importance. Winning the value-criteron debate thus will set the tone of how to judge and evaluate the round based on what side upholds the winning value-criterion better.
