I have judge UIL speaking events for about 40 years. My brother in law was the sppech and debate coach at san angelo central and is still active in judging. I have judged at a 2a regional meet, at TFa state. last year i judged district for a 1a. in the past 31 years my wife has been either a school director or involved in UIL meets. Ive alreeady been contacted by a 1a to go judge their distict meet for this year
