Judging Philosophy

CX

Rounds judged: none, it's August
Judging approach: Stock Issues
Policy priority: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Evidence philosophy: Quality of evidence is more important than quantity of evidence
Paradigm: Debate is about communication and speed hinders communication. I am a stock issues judge. I will vote on T, I will vote on CPs, I do not care for Ks and think they are a waist of time. Arguments need to be about the topic at hand.

LD

Rounds judged: none, it's August
Approach: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Philosophy:
Debate is about communication and speed hinders communication. This is Value debate, you need to be able to tie all claims/impacts to you Value. Your Criterion serves a purpose, utilize it.
