I competed in oral interpretation and LD debate in high school, advancing to the Finals round at Regionals in both events. I was also in theater in high school, competing in the One-Act Play contest throughout all of high school. I have experience directing middle school theater and have created a theater club at the Sims Library in Waxahachie, TX. I am currently an English major at UTA, and am taking classes with a strong focus on literary analysis, which I believe is integral in oral interpretation.
