Communciation is the base neccessity of these events as well as the factuality and the quality of arguments. Delivery is important as well. Overall, I look for the best all-around competitor and believe that posessing the "all-around" quality deserves recognition for how truly difficult it is.

Judging Philosophy

CX

Rounds judged: 0
Judging approach: Tabula Rasa
Policy priority: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Evidence philosophy: Quantity of evidence and quality of evidence are of equal importance
Paradigm: Tabula rasa. Everything goes as well as it is done correctly. At it's very essence, debate includes civil discourse against an opponent in a respectful yet convincing manner. I weigh everything equally and take everything into account.
