Judging qualifications:
I’m a traditional IE and Congress judge. In interp, I want to be taken on a journey and be put into the story. I want to hear honesty from a performance. I am a stickler that the manuscript should be an extension on your hand and not a distraction. In extemp, answer the question and support the answer. I want to hear specific sources which support the answer. In Congress, have those speeches ready to go. However, if you are not the first speaker on an action, flow what other members are presenting. Acknowledge those who share the stance you support.
