I have BFA in theatre from the University of Texas. I was a UIL One-Act play director for 15 years. Following that, I coached UIL Prose and Poetry at the high school level for 10 years. For the last five years of my career as a Texas teacher, I coached Modern Oratory at the middle school level. As a coach I served as teacher and judge for my students as we prepared for competitions.
