Judging Philosophy

CX

Rounds judged: 10
Judging approach: Other (please explain below)
Policy priority: Resolution of substantive issues is more important than communication skills
Evidence philosophy: Quantity of evidence is more important than quality of evidence
Paradigm: I view the debate as a game and my flow as a game board. I heavily value MPX Calc and crystallization. Your MPX Calc is going to decide who wins. I do not consider Topicality and I am fine with New in the 2. Theory is excellent with me. I understand Kritiks to the fullest but you should still be able to explain the author and lit-base to anyone who doesn't understand. CPs can't be (T). Double Perms are not arguments. All UIL rules must be adhered to.
