UIL Speech Judges

Judging qualifications:
- Passionately and successfully participated in prose/poetry interpretation in high school (excelled to regional/state level contests) - About 2 years experience coaching students from former advisors - Roughly 3 years of theatre background - Previously competed in, attended, and worked in an extensive number of contests (has a well understanding of events and contests) - Judged elementary school level prose/poetry contests As a former prose/poetry competitor, I am very passionate to see students excel in their craft. It is of the utmost importance that students receive thoughtful and useful feedback in order to succeed at a competitive level, as well as interpersonal and professional levels. As a judge, my primary goal is to provide constructive feedback to students that will aid them in their journey to becoming well-rounded, high-achieving and motivated speakers.
