I was a poetry and prose interpretation coach for nine years. During that time, I had many students advance to regionals and one student who advanced to state competition. I have judged poetry, prose, extemporaneous speaking, and debate. I was also a co-sponsor for CX and LD one year; I judged them occasionally. Although I have been out of the scene for a few years, I still feel highly qualified to coach and judge poetry and prose interpretation.
