Judging Philosophy

CX

Rounds judged: 0
Judging approach: Policy Maker
Policy priority: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Evidence philosophy: Quality of evidence is more important than quantity of evidence
Paradigm: Considering I am more of a policy maker judge, I will be looking at the advantages and disadvantages to each side of the debate. I will be voting for the side that presents me with the best policy option.

LD

Rounds judged: 0
Approach: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Philosophy:
In LD debate I will be looking for the opponent that can hold their own. I am still looking for quality over quantity during the debate as well. The opponent who is confident, quick, and has a better argument will win.
