I was involved with Prose and Poetry and Extemp Speech Events in high school, both in a competition aspect as well as a coaching aspect. I went to a small 3A high school and students would work alongside each other to teach and coach others in their events. I was involved with all three events from my freshman to senior year, which was 2014-2018.

The importance of communication as well as resolution of issues go hand in hand, I believe a student is successful in getting their point across when they are well-spoken as well as have their information organized.
