Judging qualifications:
I practiced debate and competed consecutively for two years. In my second year, as a high school senior, my partner and I made it to the second day and we were named Top 16 in the State. Since then, I have gone back to the TSDC camp as a coach for Bruni High School and hosted our own virtual camp for just our students. I have been judging for Bruni and other schools in the area for almost two years now.

Judging approach: Stock Issues
Policy priority: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Evidence philosophy: Quality of evidence is more important than quantity of evidence
Paradigm: I feel as though I am a mix of both tabula rasa and stock issues judging. I need to see your stock issues clearly, but I am definitely open to off-case arguments such as T, CPs, Ks, Framing, etc. I tend to classify myself as more stock issues only because T is a huge voter for me. I need to hear every part of the T addressed, but I also need it to make sense. I will not do the work and connections for you. I am fine with spreading so long as I can hear the tagline and author clearly. If you do not see me writing, you've lost me.
