Judging qualifications:
I did Prose, Poetry, Informative and Persuasive Speaking, and Student Congress throughout high school. I was successful throughout as well, making it to state and placed a couple times. I believe that in prose and poetry the performer should connect with the piece they are doing. I believe that the performance can be extremely blocked or can be fluid. In Extemp, I believe that the students should either inform or persuade me on their topic. Their speech should be full of credible evidence and conversational but professional. In Student Congress, I believe the students should make persuasive speeches with evidence, like Extemp. I also believe that during CX there should be well thought-out questions and answers. I want the chamber to have good clash and spark debate. With all events, categories and rules are a huge deal to me. They will be enforced at all times.
