Judging Philosophy

Judging approach: Tabula Rasa
Policy priority: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Evidence philosophy: Quality of evidence is more important than quantity of evidence
Paradigm: Evidence is King. Spreading as a tactic strategy needs to die. Real CX is a battle of substantive issues where you actually persuade the judge your side has won the debate. Any and all options should be considered.

Approach: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Philosophy:
LD needs to be LD again; NOT one man or woman CX. Spreading has no place in the history and the style of debate this was intended to be. Maybe I'm a purist but current LD bas Lincoln & Douglas rolling in their grave.
