Judging qualifications:
I have about 12-24 years experience as a judge for Forensics tournaments in and around Region 18. For several years I was the final round judge for tournaments hosted by director Cindy Wiebusch. I loved being able to choose the students that would go on to the state level in Extemporaneous Informative Speaking, Extemporaneous Persuasive Speaking, Prose Interpretation and Poetry Interpretation. I competed in speech and debate in junior high and did research for debate topics in high school. During college I focused more on public speaking and oral communication. I was chosen by Tumbleweed Smith as Who’s Who in public speaking and oral communication for UTPB. I judged many, many tournaments during 2000 to 2014. But none since 2014. I very recently relocated to Austin and I would like to be a judge in this area too. Thanks so much, Dianne Box
