Judging Philosophy

CX

Rounds judged: 0
Judging approach: Tabula Rasa
Policy priority: Resolution of substantive issues is more important than communication skills
Evidence philosophy: Quality of evidence is more important than quantity of evidence
Paradigm: I am a tabula rasa judge and look for debaters to paint a clear picture of how certain arguments should be weighed. I won't say that voters are mandatory but they are very important to me. I also value clash pretty highly and want to see very good analysis and reasoning. It might also be worth noting that I have an extensive background in traditional LD and while I am comfortable in a policy setting it is not my strong suite.
