Judging Philosophy

CX

Rounds judged: 0
Judging approach: Tabula Rasa
Policy priority: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Evidence philosophy: Quantity of evidence and quality of evidence are of equal importance
Paradigm: I believe any argument can be effective as long as its purpose is defined and it is structured correctly. I am somewhat influenced by stock issues (they are important to me, but not a necessity in every case). I’m not a fan of new in the 2 or of reading the affirmative case outside of the 1AC. Above all, I value respect between opponents and fairness in the round.
