Judging Philosophy

CX

Rounds judged: 0
Judging approach: Policy Maker
Policy priority: Resolution of substantive issues is more important than communication skills
Evidence philosophy: Quality of evidence is more important than quantity of evidence
Paradigm: I'm definitely more of a policy judge and care about evidence and logical steps in solving issues but I cannot stand spreading.

LD

Rounds judged: 0
Approach: Communication skills are more important than resolution of substantive issues
Philosophy:
I'm more of a communication judge in LD, I think how something is said is more important than the exact content, and again I cannot stand spreading. I like framework manipulation, I love it when competitors shifts the overton window in their favor for setup fantastic frameworks. I do pay more attention to CX than others because plenty of knowledge and time can be leveraged if you are skilled enough and I think that deserves recognition.
