Judging qualifications:
Speech and drama tournaments were my life in high school. My coach, J. E. Masters, planted the seed of professionalism as a freshman which lead to a BFA degree at Baylor and continues through today as a veteran stage actress performing in numerous professional regional theatre prouductions with Theatre 3, Kitchen Dog Theater, Uptown Players and WaterTower Theatre, to name a few. I am thrilled to see a contestant that possesses the "it" factor but I return to my speech roots as the foundation for being a judge. If I can't see your face or clearly hear your words, there's little that mere interpretation can do to effectively communicate your story to your audience. I was on a reoccurring list to judge through 2015. However, I changed jobs 3 years ago and slipped off those lists but would thoroughly enjoy becoming a "regular" again.
