Judging Philosophy

CX

Rounds judged: 3
Judging approach: Stock Issues
Policy priority: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Evidence philosophy: Quantity of evidence and quality of evidence are of equal importance
Paradigm: Framework makes the debate work, and should be at the top of the 1AC/1NC. Tell me at the very beginning how to weigh the round- don't wait until the rebuttals, because by then, it's too late. I'm fine with time suck arguments on the neg as long as you run them properly and kick them appropriately with minimal abuse to the aff team. I will vote on anything if you give me a good enough reason to. Impact calculus on both sides is very important.
