Judging Philosophy

CX

Rounds judged: 1
Judging approach: Other (please explain below)
Policy priority: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Evidence philosophy: Quantity of evidence and quality of evidence are of equal importance
Paradigm: AFF - Establish Harms, and present a clear plan that solves and provides advantages. Must uphold AFF case over all attacks, follow flow and don't drop arguments. NEG - T's and DA's I like, but I really like on case clash and plan attacks. Any DA with nuke war impacts or some other unbelievable impacts I won't listen to, so don't waste your time or mine. I follow flow, so if you drop something I will flow it. I detest Rapid Fire debate, this is a communication event, so speak clearly and at a pace where everyone (including myself) can follow what you are saying. I will dock speaker points for rapid fire, and remember every point counts.
