Currently coaching?: No

Conference:

Number of years coached:

Number of tournaments judged: 5

High school attended:
Sulphur Springs High School

Graduated high school: 2016

Participated in high school: Yes

Participated in college: No

Judging qualifications:
I've debated all four years of high school and have been able to help judge at meets they've held there, as well as with other schools that I met while competing. Being in college, I am still familiar with more recent trends in debate and can help these students grow and better themselves and offer them a young but experienced perspective.

Judging Philosophy

CX

Rounds judged: 6
Judging approach: Stock Issues
Policy priority: Resolution of substantive issues is more important than communication skills
Evidence philosophy: Quality of evidence is more important than quantity of evidence
Paradigm: I am a mix between Stock Issues and Tab. I want on case argumentation and direct clash above all. I will judge on off case arguments, but you cannot win solely on those. Sign posting and road maps are also important.

LD

Rounds judged: 12
Approach: Resolution of substantive issues is more important than communication skills
Philosophy:
I like to see actual clash and a true comparison of your values and criterion. Do not just make me evaluate two separate speeches, but give me an actual debate so that I can value and compare two opposing ideas.
