Judging qualifications:
I competed for Garland High school from 2007-2011 and since graduating 7 years ago, have been working as a paid judge all over Texas and have been assisting two of the Garland ISD speech and debate teams. Furthermore, my undergraduate degree is in Communication Theory, so I have comprehensive education of speech communication in general. I am most qualified to judge IEs, as those are what I competed in throughout high school (HI, DI, PR, PO, OO, DA, and Duo). I competed in the UIL circuit for all four years in either PR or PO and was TFA state qual'd all four years in various interp events. I have spent most time judging IEs and interp events, though I have novice LD and various speaking events, as well.
