Judging Philosophy

Rounds judged: 25
Judging approach: Tabula Rasa
Policy priority: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Evidence philosophy: Quantity of evidence and quality of evidence are of equal importance
Paradigm: I believe that a round should consist on solid arguments, based on evidence that is concise, valid, and clear cut. Rounds with clash, substantial arguments, and real world theory are best. I am tab and lean more towards stocks, but will vote on a solid K.

I am a core value/criterion LD judge. I like to see a round where the criterion helps to achieve the value, and how the opponents show me how you best achieve both your value as well as your opponent.
