I was a national and local extemporaneous speaking and Lincoln Douglas debater for all four years of high school. I qualified to TFA state my sophomore, junior, and senior year. I was in several NSDA bid rounds for Lincoln Douglas debate my junior year. Both senior year and junior year I qualified to the tournament of champions in extemporaneous speaking.

Approach: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Philosophy:
I believe a large part of being successful in debate requires strong conversational skills and being able to convey those in a persuasive manner to sway your judge. With that being said, debate is also about strong argumentation as well. I like well expressed and constructed arguments. I will listen to anything and everything!
