Judging Philosophy

Rounds judged: 0
Judging approach: Tabula Rasa
Policy priority: Resolution of substantive issues is more important than communication skills
Evidence philosophy: Quality of evidence is more important than quantity of evidence
Paradigm: I would describe myself as a tabula rasa judge. I am open to any and every argument as it is presented in a round. I like a variety of off and on case arguments. I am open to kritiks and vote on them often. However, I ask that you don't run a filler argument as I prefer quality over quantity. I also vote on topicality often if the negative proves beyond a reasonable doubt that the affirmative is in violation. As far as the affirmative is concerned, defend your case and you should be good.
