Approach: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
I believe that at high school level LD the delivery, style, and organization in communication is just as important as the resolution. Ultimately resolution is important and while the student who comes out ahead in the debate is almost always also the student with the best communication that is not always the case. These communication skills learned and honed in LD have many helpful applications in life so I am always impressed to see students who really knock that out of the park.
