Judging Philosophy

Rounds judged: 6
Judging approach: Stock Issues
Policy priority: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Evidence philosophy: Quality of evidence is more important than quantity of evidence
Paradigm: I vote on stock issues; it is the affirmative's job to build up the case and the negative's job to tear it down. Whichever team can prove their case best and most reasonably wins. I do not like rapid fire. I must be able to understand what the speaker is presenting so that I can properly vote on it.
