Judging qualifications:
I did Persuasive and Informative Speaking all 4 years in high school. I participated for UIL and NFL. I also did Poetry my senior year of high school. Also, I was heavily involved with theatre for all 4 years and was involved in over 20 plays/musicals. I received All-Star Cast for my junior and senior years. Today, I have been taking a Speech Communication class as well as a Public Speaking class, which I am anticipating to make an A in both.

One of my fellow classmates recently placed at state in LD. Although it wasn't something I was interested in, I did do Public Forum Debate for NFL. My philosophy towards judging this type of event would be who could provide the best argument while conveying decent communication skills.
