Judging Philosophy

Rounds judged: 6
Judging approach: Tabula Rasa
Policy priority: Communication skills are more important than resolution of substantive issues
Evidence philosophy: Quality of evidence is more important than quantity of evidence
Paradigm: My understanding is that CX is very similar to college policy debate, and as such, I am fine with speed or K affs. Topicality or framework can be won in front of me but must be impacted/warranted out. I mostly ran K (and am sympathetic to it) but am familiar with policy.

Rounds judged:
Approach: Communication skills are more important than resolution of substantive issues
I am a strong believer in persuasion, but I will vote on T or Framework if it is warranted out and explained clearly.
