Rounds judged: 0
Approach: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Philosophy:
My history is purely as an LD debater, so I judge based on value-criterion pairing and the points used by both sides to substantiate that pairing. I flow debates clearly with the pairing and the issues, and appreciate debaters who present a clear and organized case and don't drop points made by the opponent. I recognize the need for both communication skills and resolution of issues, but I would value resolution of issues slightly more if I had to make a choice.
