Judging Philosophy

Rounds judged: 3
Judging approach: Policy Maker
Policy priority: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Evidence philosophy: Quality of evidence is more important than quantity of evidence
Paradigm: I like my competitors to keep it classy and to keep to the topic at hand. Definitely no spreading. Enunciation is favored. I like everyone to maintain the attributes of any Ethical Speaker.

Rounds judged: 12 or more
Approach: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Keep to the philosophy of the matter. Lets not get caught up in statistics and all that jazz. Lets keep to the argument of whose point is considered more philosophically correct rather than who can prove if something does or doesn't work.
