I am very fair and leave the burden of proof on the affirmative. I want a clear understandable debate with good clash. I understand all of the lingo and technical aspects of it. I have debated for many years and currently teach speech and debate and coach the UIL events here at Dilley.

Judging Philosophy

Rounds judged: 0
Judging approach: Stock Issues
Policy priority: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Evidence philosophy: Quantity of evidence and quality of evidence are of equal importance
Paradigm: I look for good clash and touching on the stock issues. I want to be able to understand the debate not just rapid fire and spouting evidence. Tell me about the plan what you have and how you can back it up. I want to hear a debate not that you missed one piece of my 12000 quotes of evidence while I ran through it and couldnt be understood.
