Approach: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Philosophy:
LD debaters should be able to properly explain ideas to both the opponent and judge as well as have a strong resolution as a backbone for their debate. They should also be able to make a connection between their opponent's case and theirs and explain why their case trumps their opponent's.
