Judging Philosophy

Rounds judged: 0
Judging approach: Tabula Rasa
Policy priority: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Evidence philosophy: Quality of evidence is more important than quantity of evidence
Paradigm: Speed: I need clearly stated taglines and need to be able to tell whenever you are moving on to another card. The ability to effectively communicate is an important part of debate, don't let speed effect your ability to communicate clearly. T: Make sure there is a clear and valid argument, try not to make it a battle of different dictionary definitions. DA: Specific and quality internal links are important. CP: If you run a CP and DA's make sure they don't link to each other, one of the arguments has to concede to the other. Focus on net benefits and the competitiveness. K: I will vote on a kritik if it is executed properly, and has a viable alternative.
