Judging qualifications:
I participated in Persuasive Extemporaneous Speaking at the Regional Level in 2A. After graduation, I have judged at the Invitational, District and Regional Level. Outside of UIL, I also worked in a congressional office which has helped me better advise the competitors I have judged.

Policy priority: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Evidence philosophy: Quality of evidence is more important than quantity of evidence
Paradigm: My judging philosophy is Stock Issues for CX, with an emphasis on the quality of the plan proposed; as well as on evidence to show the merits of logic and substantial gain from the proposed plan.

Approach: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Tabula Rasa with heavy emphasis on the logic and values of the plan and strong focus on persuasiveness/speaking style (without the use of spreading).
