Judging qualifications:
While in high school, I was involved in Extempt and CX Debate, advancing to the state level for last two years. After graduation, I am still involved with UIL, judging across the state for invitational, district and regional meets. Just this year, I have already judge one CX district meet, another schedule this month, and two invitationals.

Judging Philosophy

Rounds judged: 3
Judging approach: Stock Issues
Policy priority: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Evidence philosophy:
Paradigm: I am a firm stock issues judge. It is the responsibility of the Affirmative team to refute all arguments presented by the Negative. If the Affirmative team drops one stock issue, it's highly likely they will lose the debate round. I appreciate a clean debate with substance and clash. Not a fan of spreading or basic topicality arguments.
