Judging Philosophy

CX

Rounds judged:
Judging approach: Stock Issues
Policy priority: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Evidence philosophy: Quantity of evidence and quality of evidence are of equal importance
Paradigm: I am a stock issues judge. Quality and quantity are of equal importance. I dislike spreading. Debate is a communication event and spreading impedes communication. I take presentation of arguments and respect shown between opponents into account when making my decision.
